Transcript of Paradox Prezi

In George Orwell's Animal Farm: "All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others" In Shakespeare's Hamlet, the title character states "I must be cruel to be kind." Paradox Paradox is a statement or proposition that seems self-contradictory or absurd but in reality expresses a possible truth. Charles Dickens' Tale of Two Cities: "It was the worst of times, it was the best of times..." This is the simplest of paradoxes and can be created by uttering a single phrase: “I always lie”. If he is always lying than what he just said can’t be true, if it isn’t true than he doesn’t lie and if he didn’t lie he is a liar... and this goes on forever creating an endless loop.
