Estar
To remember when to use estar just use this simple acronym.
Subasta
To practice using ser and estar we are going to use a game we came up with called Subasta, which is Spanish for auction. The object of the game is simple: you will be shown multiple sentences with blanks where either a form of ser or estar should be used (the tenses will already be given to you). Your job is to hold up your paddle with the correct word you think should be used in the blank (doctor for ser; building for estar).
