Illustrate their favorite planet
Two learned facts about illustrated planet
Teacher-Centered, Student-Centered,Displaying Student Work, Hands-on activities, Individual work.
Key Vocabulary:

Motivation:
Ask students to name planets that they already know as teacher writes them on the board.

Ask students to recall any information on any/all familiar planets.

After all answers are given, explain to the students that they will then hear a story about the planets, as well as hear facts about them.

Once the story is complete, the students will individually draw and color their favorite planet from the story and write two learned facts about that planet.
