Third line of defense also consists of T-cells What is Hepatitis C? •When handling blood, Health Care workers should
use gloves and sanitize everything.
•Do not share needles with anyone.
•Do not get tattoo or body piercings or receive acupuncture from someone who does not have a permit or license.

21% of these individuals don't know they are infected and remain undiagnosed.
