Good Morning! My name is Aqsa Mumtaz and I will be telling you about the book The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell.
My Challenge Level

Summary
The twins, Alex and Bailey have suffered from a hard time after their father's death, they've lost their home, and their mother has to work long hours to support them. Their grandmother visits when she can and leaves her granddaughter, Alex the family' passed on book of fairy tales. One day, Alex and Conner fall into the book and find themselves inside the land of fairy tales. Everything seems strangely familiar from their father's stories. A human frog named Froggy explains to them that their only chance of getting back to the world they call home, is through a mysterious magical method called the Wishing Spell. When eight certain items are placed together, the resulting magic will allow the user to be granted one wish, no matter how big or simple it is. Throughout their quest they must deal with trolls, wolves, princes, princesses, heroes, and villains. But with the Evil Queen also trying find the wishing spell items, things get tougher for the twins, plus the book also talks about a romantic tragedy in the Evil Queen's past.

world is about to change.
When the twins' grandmother gives them a treasured fairy-tail book, they have no idea they're about to enter a land
beyond all imagining the Land of Stories,
where fairy tales are real.

Main Characters
Alex Bailey
- She is Conner's twin sister. She enjoys reading. She was very amazed by seeing all the characters in the land of stories for real when she went for her quest.

Conner Bailey
- He is Alex's twin brother. He does not like school and mostly falls asleep in class.

Froggy
- He is the first person Alex and Conner met in their quest. He was initially a man but got turned into a frog due to a curse. He told the twins about the wishing spell and helped them in their quest.

Evil Queen
- She is an important character in the story. She also wants the Wishing Spell. However, she has a heartbreaking past.

Grandmother
- She gave Alex a magical book called The Land of Stories. She also looks after the twins while their mother is at work.

Princesses
- They are princesses in the magical book (the book Alex's grandmother gave to her). In order to get the Wishing Spell, the twins had to collect certain objects which could only be obtained from the princesses such as Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White.
