Transcript of Forces

Do it now
what is newtons 2nd law?
If an object has a weight of 200kg and is pushed with a forc of 50N, what is the acceleration?
Gravity is 9.8 N/Kg
The tendancy for motion to remain unchanged
How difficult it is to change the velocity of an object
Inertial mass
mass= Force / acceleration
Newtons third law
Newtons third law

when two objects interact they exert equal and opposite forces on each other
in equilibrium: Wall
Weight and normal contact force although in equilibrium are not the same force and therefore not newtons third law.
