March 13, 2003 a individual was caught in his plot to destroy the Brooklyn bridge with explosives after the government found about his plot with surveillance on him.
May 20, 2009 four men were arrested for plotting to blow up a religious temple in New York and shoot down military planes.
June 2006 seven men arrested for plotting and attack on the Sears Tower in Chicago, Illinois.
Since 9/11 a total of 50 terrorists attacks have been foiled

Security is for the benefit of the people.
Protects the people.
No noncriminal arrests.
Less likelihood of online crime, or crime organization.

Najibullah Zazi, of Afghanistan, reportedly targeted “major transportation centers” in New York City. The possible death count could have been enormous.
Jordanian national Hosam Maher Husein Smadi is accused of trying to detonate a car bomb beneath Dallas’ 60-story Fountain Place office tower. The bomb was fake because the FBI made it so.
American-born Michael C. Finton, aka Talib Islam, is accused of targeting the Springfield, Ill. Courthouse, where over 100 people work. His van, too, was filled with fake explosives he thought to be real.
