Career in Denver
Carmelo was the 3rd overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft. He was drafted to the Denver Nuggets. He lead every single rookie in scoring. He was only a few votes off of winning the Rookie of the Year. He was already a star in the NBA. And he was just getting started
In 7 and a half years with the Nuggets, Anthony averaged over 23 points and over 7 rebounds. He was a 4 time All-Star with them too. He lead the team to the playoffs 7 years straight. But he wanted to win a championship and he knew the Big Apple was the place to go.

Carmelo Kyam Anthony was born on May 19,1984 in Brooklyn, New York. He moved to Baltimore, Maryland when he was eight. He went to Towson Catholic High school and started playing Basketball. He averaged 23 points and 10 rebounds per game. He was named to the McDonalds All-American team, which included the best high school players in the country.
In 2011, Carmelo made the move to join the
Knicks. He joined fellow Amare Stoudemire
and Chauncey Billups to form a team that
could compete for a championship. Although
they have not won one yet, ever since Carmelo
joined the Knicks, they have only missed
the Playoffs once. He has also won the
scoring championship in 2012 and has
been an NBA All Star for eight years. He is
hoping to add an NBA Title to his list of

Anthony had an amazing time in his one year playing with the Syracuse Orange in 2003. He averaged about 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists per game. Then, he then led his team to the NCAA National Championship and won the College Basketball Player of the Year.
