Human Dignity in the Priority of Labor Over Capital human person is in every face of the stakeholders of business HUMAN DIGNITY How is human dignity preserved among our migrant workers or OFWs? Is the spirit superior over matter? Is it easy for businesses to practice this principle? Priority of Labor over Capital the priority of labor over capital means that all those who operate in the economic system, whether private companies or state agencies, must ensure that all they do is directed to benefiting labor itself – people – rather than capital, mere things. Capital is the small but highly influential group of entrepreneurs, owners or holders of the means of production. Labor is the broad multitude of people who lacked these means and who shared in the process of production solely by their service or effort. human person a worth without an equal and an
assessment that is priceless.
