Transcript of Basketball Jordan 7th grade

Basketball was invented in 1891 by Dr. James Naismith.
Basketball sneaker sales of players in the NBA, are lead by Michael Jordan with an estimated 2,500 million dollars per in 2013. In second is Lebron James with 300 million dollars. Third is Kevin Durant with 175 million dollars
The National Basketball Association is where professional games are played. People are drafted from college teams to NBA teams. It was founded in 1946.
Most people say hat the best player is Michael Jordan
I like playing basketball and I'm sure you do too. It is a fun and enjoyable sport.
Basic Rules
- Points are scored by shooting the basketball into the hoop.
- Dribbling is when you bounce the ball up and down using the tips of your finger, if you don't you will be called traveling.
- Double dribbling is when you dribble and you stop and dribble again, if you do this your team will lose possession.
- Whichever team at the end of four quarters has the most points, wins the game.
- There are 5 players on the court at a time for each team.
- The 5 positions are small forward, power forward, shooting guard, point guard, and center.
