Introduction
Statement of Problem, Purpose of Study and Review of Literature
Question and/or Hypothesis
Grievances
Employee grievances occur in every workplace and handling them properly is essential for maintaining a harmonious and productive work environment.
Causes of Grievances
•Equity related grievances
•Terms and conditions and breach of contract
•Poor welfare or Health and Safety issues
•Work relations
•Bullying and harassment
•New working practices
•Organization change
•Lack of proper information flow to all


Grievances
Employee Grievances can lead for low performance and low productivity
Statement of Problem
When staff grievances in the organization is not addressed and resolved or handled properly will lead for creating ineffective work force and inefficiency on productivity. Lack of proper respond on staff grievances ultimately result for union strike and can also lead for organization closer. It is one of the main reasons of high employee turnover.
Purpose of Study
Primary objective of the study is to study the various types of employee grievances and various methods prevailing in INGOs for handling those grievances. And

Hypothesis 1:
Well-functioning grievances handling system is positively related to higher a) employee satisfaction b) employee commitment and c) employee retention
Hypothesis 2:
Lack of proper staff grievances handling procedures has negative effect on staff turnover in INGOs in Nepal.
Hypothesis 3:
Staff grievances handling system is not well function in INGOs of Nepal.

Dessler and Varkkey indicate that a grievance is often a symptom of an underlying problem. Sometimes, bad relationships between supervisors and subordinates are to blame: This is often the cause of grievances over “unfair treatment,” for instance.

Organization effectiveness is being defined as the extent to which an organization as a social system utilizes certain resources; capital and human resources; to fulfill its objectives without giving room for the members for unmanaged grievance.

To know the level of the employees satisfaction towards the grievances handling procedures of the organization.
To identify the major factors influencing for effectiveness on grievance handling.
To know about the role of grievance handling procedures in Nepalese INGOs for staff loyalty.

The two sources of data collection as primary and secondary.
Primary Data
The fresh data will be collected through survey questionnaire from employees and through face to face meeting with HR heads, supervisors and some of the selected employees.
Secondary Data
Secondary data will be collected from Social Welfare Council (SWC), Association of International Non Government Organization (AIN) and from internet.
Sample Desing
Total 95 INGOs register both in SWC and AIN in Nepal
4 INGOs are selected based on origin of country, their sector and recognize as top 4 INGOs in Nepal who are listed in top 20 worlds top 100 NGOs in Global Journal 2013.
INGOs Are
Sample Population : 363 employees in
4 organizations
Sample Size : 73 employees as 20%
or 90 employees as 25%
Sample Test : Percentage Method
Sample Media : Questionnaire
Sampling Method : Simple Random
