How to Tie-Dye T-Shirts Different kinds of ti-dye patterns
spiral patterns
horizontal or vertical
concentric circles
"scrunch" patterns

Spiral Patterns horizontal or vertical
concentric circles "scrunch" patterns When Making Horizontal Patterns:
fold vertical pleats into the shirt
keep tight with rubber bands
add colors you enjoy and that compliment eachother When Making Vertical Patterns:
fold horizontal pleats into the shirt
hold tight with rubber bands
add colors that you enjoy and that compliment each other When Making Spiral Patterns:
grab middle of shirt with two fingers
twist shirt in a spiral motion until shirt is completely twisted
hold tight with rubber bands
add colors that you enjoy and that compliment each other When Making Concentric Circles:
grab shirt where you want the center to be
pull tight and add rubber bands until the shirt forms a tube
add colors that you enjoy and that compliment each other When Making a "Scrunch Pattern":
crumple the fabric evenly
add rubber bands so that it makes shirt look like a disk
add colors that you enjoy and that compliment each other
