The Life and Career of Michael Jordan
Michael Jordan aka MJ was born February 17, 1963. He was born in Brooklyn, NY. He grew up in North Carolina. He is the Fourth child out of five. He has two older brothers Larry Jordan and James R. Jordan Jr. He had one older sister Deloris Jordan and one younger sister Roslyn Jordan.

Michael Jordan went to Emsley A. Laney in North Carolina. As a sophomore Michael Jordan did not make his varsity team. Not making the team didn't discourage him but made him stride to become better. He came back and made the team his junior and senior year. Working that hard made him get a full way scholarship to college
Michael Jordan was in the 1984 NBA draft. He was picked third in the first round of the draft. Five people from the 1984 draft made it in the NBA Hall of Fame. Those five are Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Hakeem Olajuwon, John Stockton and Oscar Schmidt.
Michael Jordan went to collage at university of North Carolina. He was a great basketball player in his college career. He averaged 18 points per game, 5 rebounds per game, and 4 assist per game. He lead North Carolina to a NCAA championship and hit the game winning jump shot.
College Career
Michael Jordan got the Rookie of The Year award. His shooting percentage was .515 which is amazing shooting over fifty percent. His foul shot percentage was .845. He was averaging 28.2 points per game his rookie year. His assist per game was 5.9. Michael Jordan got 6.5 rebounds per game his rookie year.

Michael Jordan got a lot of awards in his basketball career. He has 6 NBA championship wins and rings he also got finals MVP 6 times. He got the NBA MVP award 5 times. He has ten First Team Awards. Michael Jordan was voted Defensive player of the Year. He is a nine-time All-defensive team. He got the Rookie of the Year Award. He is a 14 time All Star. He also is a three time All-Star MVP.
Michael Jordan's Awards
Micheal Jordan was part of the olympics. he was in te 1984 Olympics while still in college and led them to a gold medal. while he was in college. While he was pro he made the olympics 1992 olympics with the Dream Team. On the Dream was Christian Laettner, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, Larry Bird, Scottie Pippin, Michael Jordan, Clyde Drexler, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Chris Mullin, Charles Barkley, and Magic Johnson. They went undefeated beating all eight apponents. They didnt just beat beat them they blew all them out by about 44.
Michael Jordan was named the best player ever for a reason. He was amazing, He made everything look easy. He went on 18 - 0 run by himself! He won 3 championships with the Bulls and wanted to retire, so he did. He went to baseball and played for the White Sox. He missed the love for the game so he went back to basketball. Michael won another 3 championships. than retired fully.

In 1996 Michael Jordan starred in the movie Space Jam. The movie is with all the Looney Tunes. The Loony Tune characters have to play against aliens that take NBA players skills to get really tall and strong. the aliens started off at about am foot tall and grow to giants.
