What makes a great leader?
A man's spirit will endure sickness,
but a crushed spirit who can bear?
Why we will succeed
Started by two guys with no culinary experience or restaurant background
We partner with Community Leadrs who have limited management experience
Have teenagers who have no cooking background making our food
Where places like, PDQ, spend $4mm for build out and opening, we spend about $400k
We have no budget for advertising and we don't
We are only open 50 hour a week but pay rent for 168 hours in a week,
We pay more for ingredients than we have to
We only have a one page menu and it does not change
We have a confusing ordering process
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.--Winston Churchill
Set scary standards
Allow for failure
Deliver bad news
Learn to delegate
Look in the mirror and confront what you see
Challenge your comfort zone and face your fear
Where does courage come from?
You're not born with it. You develop it through experience. Every time you face a fear, you build confidence and courage. No matter the outcome, it's never as bad as your fear makes it out to be.

What does being a Community Leader mean?
Attention, passengers. This is your captain speaking. Today, in addition to your scheduled flight, you will experience trial by fire. Some of you may die, but thankfully, that is a sacrifice I am willing to make.
How do you learn to run a mile?
Whatever you may think about Buckley, he’s got guts. He went 299 fights, 1,750 rounds and endured 256 defeats in five years without a single win.
Arguably the worst boxer in history must surely win an award for the biggest heart after finally winning a bout ... in his last fight.
The boxer savoured victory for the first (and last) time in October 2008 with a victory on points over Martin Mohammed in Birmingham.
Making sure your purpose determines your path
What does it mean to be mission-driven?
We will succeed because of the Commnity Leader
