.

Capilano River Regional Park.

OPEN SPACES AND PARKS
Federal government departments provide service in English and French, but most of the population speaks English as either a first or second language.
The City of Vancouver is quite cosmopolitan and is a mix of many multicultural groups. Because the city is multicultural, it's also multilingual on an unofficial level. Its people speak many different languages and many follow the traditions of their native lands, sometimes moderating them with Canadian culture.

In 2005 Vancouver had one of the highest crime rates of North America. But, since a few years ago this levels has been falling "dramatically". Nowadays, it has hardly any crimes, but they can decrease more and more.
LANGUAGES
Vancouver was recently ranked as the third most “livable place in the world” for its high standard of living and quality of life.
Vancouver has the 4th largest cruise ship terminal in the world.
The Vancouver Aquarium ranks in the top 5 worldwide.
Vancouver is tied with Montreal as the 10th cleanest city in the world.

FACTS
It is a city in the Nigerian state. It lies in southwestern Nigeria, on the Atlantic coast in the Gulf of Guinea, west of the Niger River delta.
We can classified Lagos in two big areas: the Island and the Mainland that is separated by the main channel which forms Lagos Harbour.
This city has a tropical savanna climate. The summers are much rainier than the winters in Lagos. The average temperature in Lagos is 27.0 °C.

GEOGRAPHY AND CLIMATE
CRIME RATES
Crime is something almost endemic in Lagos. Property crimes, including armed burglaries and car theft, have been particularly high, fueled as much by large-scale unemployment as by wide disparities in income and life chances.
There are plans to increase the number of policemen and improve law enforcement generally in and around greater Lagos.

Lagos has not a very expensive cost of living, it’s more or less like living at the Canaries, even cheaper.

THE COST OF LIVING
Education is traditionally regarded as a means of social mobility, so most parents are willing to invest heavily in children's schooling.
SCHOOLS AND UNIVERSITIES
Lagos hasn’t got too many open spaces and parks, and the ones which has, are located in risky places for children to play, like too near to roads. Despite that, the government is working on the construction of new ones.

OPEN SPACES AND PARKS
Communication in the English language is much more popular in the country's urban communities than it is in the rural areas (comprising about three quarters of the country's population).

LANGUAGES
