Currently over 500 scholars spread throughout Korea; hundreds more alumni around the world What do you do? My Experience Join Now!

www.talk.go.kr Who can apply? Citizen of Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, the United Kingdom or the United States of America
Have completed 2 or more years of post-secondary education
Ethnic Koreans in 1st or 2nd year of college/university Goals Contract Term 6 months or 1 year
Opportunity to extend up to 2 years
Starting dates in February and August every year Teach English in afterschool classes in rural elementary schools
(Afterschool = 1pm-5pm) 15 hours per week
(~3 classes per day)
9 hours per week for TaLK Exchange Students (Write a newsletter article; teach classes to school teachers in order to fulfill weekly hourly requirements) Benefits Monthly allowance of 1.5M Won
Settlement allowance of 300,000 won
Additional income opportunities, including:
Overtime pay
Essay and Video contests
Contract completion bonus (1.5M Won after 1.5-2 years) Entry and Exit Allowance of 1.3M won (x2)
Health Insurance
Paid Leave Personal Accommodation or Home-stay Cultural Experience
1 provincial trip per semester
