Colorado is better off because Emily Griffith
lived, many people got the courage to
join schools and there were more job opportunities for adults that want to be a teacher
Emily Griffith became famous because she believed that everyone had a right to an education. If someone wants an education they can get an education. She made this happen by founding the Emily Griffith Opportunity School and gave all kids an education.

Emily Griffith is a person to look up to because
if you don't have a good education Emily Griffith would help you get one.
Emily Griffith was born in 1868 and
died in 1947. She was born in Cincinnati,
Ohio on February 10 and moved to Denver
in 1894. She has four siblings and shes the
eldest of them. Emily Griffith has a frail mother and a crippled father.
IMPACT ON COLORADO
Emily Griffith believed that everyone had the right to an education. Which meant that everyone should learn and not be left out of schools and colleges. Emily Griffith was an important figure in Colorado history because she believed that everyone had the right to an education. She founded the Emily Griffith Opportunity School, which helped make this possible for many people in Denver.
She cared about people that
didn't have an education
and she believed that
everybody deserved a good
To apply those lessons to my life
I would keep working hard in school
and get a good education. I would keep
up with my work and get good grades
