Whiteboard Blitz Staff's Role Purpose: To get CAVE's message across campus! We do this by going in out in teams and writing CAVE contact information on classrooms’ whiteboards & posting flyers on all student bulletin boards

When? Two opportunities:
Friday, January 25th (Friday before school starts)
3:00pm-4:00pm

Friday, February 1st
3:00pm-4:00pm Whiteboard Blitz? Purpose: Share CAVE information with students on campus through the distribution of CAVE brochures, buttons and volunteer applications.

How?
Sign ups are tomorrow AM! Starting @ 9:30
In the office on the Supplies Closet Door near the staff entrance
First 3 weeks of the semester
Mon-Thurs
10am-2pm Recruitment Tables How do tables work? Wear your CAVE shirt!
WE STAND.
NO CELL PHONES!!
Stay positive-What type of table would you like to go up to?
Engage people with materials!
It's okay not to know the answer Things to remember while tabling! Sign up for a table that FITS YOUR SCHEDULE
Let OUTREACH know if you need a replacement
NO STAGGERING TABLE SIGN UPS ALLOWED.
Always sign the sign in sheet... that's how you get credit.

First tabler: Sets up [that means going to the office 5 mins early]
Last tabler: Takes down [that means bringing all the goodies back]

PLEASE! Respect tabling materials & put them away properly My classes!

Be creative! How do I get CAVE Talks? Contact the faculty/supervisor/etc. to confirm you’ll give a talk

Fill out my CAVE Talk slip depending on the Day/Type of Talk

Practice! Know what you want to say, or what materials to use

Arrive ON TIME [or 5 minutes early] to introduce yourself

Present the stellar CAVE talk and recruit volunteers What do I do when I have a CAVE Talk? What about when I'm done? Turn it into the jar at the CAVE Talk station
Outreach will count and record it for you
Remember:
