HOUSE VS. SENATE based on states population 2 senators per state 2 year term 6 year term has the power to: initiate revenue bills, impeach officials, and elect the president in an Electoral College deadlock 435 members 100 members has the power to: approve appointments of Cabinet secretaries, federal judges, other federal executive officials, military officers and other federal uniformed officers, and trying federal officials impeached by the House at least 30 years old;
citizen of the U.S for atleast 9 years;
must be (at the time of the election) an inhabitant of the state they want to represent. The V.P of the U.S is the president for the senate at least 25 years old;
must be a citizen of the U.S for 7 years
be (at the time of the election) an inhabitant of the state they represent.
