Spring
Fall
Birds migrate 11,000 miles.
Squirrels begin to bury nuts for the winter.
Tree leaves change colors and fall.
Evergreen trees do not change colors because there is a thick layer of wax and their insides hold materials that help them not to freeze.
Summer
The most ice cream is sold in July.
Summer vacation was invented by an educator.
A great summer treat is watermelon which is actually a vegetable.
The Eiffel Tower expands in the summer because of thermal expansion.
The Four Seasons
Winter
No two snowflakes are alike.
Ice is a mineral.
Hot water freezes faster than cold water.
10 inches of snow melts into 1 inch of water.
Flowers bloom
Beautiful colors
Animals come out
Children grow faster in the spring
Dandelions are usually the first to bloom.
