Black Health Professions Organization is an organization provided to inspire the success of the African American students who plan to further a career in the health professions field. Students will assist each other on working towards a common goal while providing a sense of unity.

Emmanuel Aniemeke
Emmanuel Aniemeke is currently a PGY1 resident at University Health System, San Antonio, Texas. He completed his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Texas Southern University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from University of Houston. He is passionate about leadership and responsibility.
Dr. John C. Aniemeke
Dr. John C. Aniemeke is a diplomate of The American Board of Periodontology. He is a graduate of University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, Texas where he graduated Cum laude in May 2009 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) and received the Quintessence academic achievement award as an outstanding student in periodontics. Dr. Aniemeke received his specialty training also at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, where he obtained a combined Certificate of specialization in Periodontics and Oral Implantology and a Master of Science Degree (M.S) at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. His anesthesia training was at the Veterans Hospital in San Antonio. He also trained at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia on oral surgery externship. Dr. John is a people person who is very passionate about his patients and devotes quality time to care for them as family. He is a man of faith known for his compassionate heart towards his patients. He was honored with the Dr. Robert Dale Memorial Award for selfless service to the community and devotion to patient care at the UTHSCSA Dental School
