AUTOBIOGRAPHY
-Raymond Espe
February 17, 1997
when the world starts to laugh..
I remember before I was born, I was some where with light and consciousness, I remember looking down maybe over a cloud or something , I felt no bad feelings I just felt good. I do not remember seeing any one else there but I felt secure and not alone. I either had a choice or thought about coming to this world and the next moment I was being born. As soon as I had the thought it happened.
I live in a Urayong, a beatiful town in Bauang, province of La Union.
Few years later I would hear people’s voices talking at very fast speed in my head with no one around. I could hear very high sounds in the distance..
THEN...

That is when I was 1 or 2 years old I guess, I was playing around our house, don't know what am I doing then.
I love being a kid because I do not what to do any household chores, I only want to play, play and play.

“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.”

- Fred Rogers
"Why is a birthday cake the only food you can blow on and spit on and everybody rushes to get a piece?" - Bobby Kelton
I am Raymond Picardal Espe,...
Marivic Espe is my mother
Rommel Espe is my brother
I belong to a broken family, my father leaves us when I was in my mothers womb so I cant even see him, touch him and even I cant feel his caring hugs and kisses.
I accept the reality that my father leaves us, but I know God has a plan for me and I am thankful because God gave me family that cares and love me so much.
“Sometimes the best families are the ones God builds using unexpected pieces of our hearts.”
-Melanie Shankle
I'm happy to be with my family...
I finished my primary schooling in Bagbag Elementary School.
"Childhood is the world of miracle or of magic: it is as if creation rose luminously out of the night, all new and fresh and astonishing. Childhood is over the moment things are no longer astonishing. When the world gives you a feeling of "déjà vu," when you are used to existence, you become an adult."

-EUGENE IONESCO
At early age, my parents introduced me to books for knowledge. I'm happy opening the book because I learn and because of the printed pictures in the book, even if I don't understand what is being written in the book I always turn the pages one by one.

"Education and learning are one of the most important ingredients to becoming all that you can be. How open you are to learning will help determine your path in life." -anonymous
This is my cousin who has a down syndrome, but I accept him because I know that God has a purpose of what happen to him. He is my friend and I'm happy with him.

"When you hear the word 'disabled,' people immediately think about people who can't walk or talk or do everything that people take for granted. Now, I take nothing for granted. But I find the real disability is people who can't find joy in life and are bitter" -Teri Garr

as time pass by...
Now is the time to follow the wind to walk alone and a star will show the way above the clouds beyond the sea

And now is the time and now and farewell and as we part you taught me well you gave me strength you showed the way I'll not forget you

Like an eagle I will soar above the clouds
I will spread my wings and fly into the sun
Like an eagle I will race above the stars

I will fly to places yet unseen
Go beyond my wildest dreams
Know that you are watching over me

Alone, I can fly with the eagle to the mountain high
Race with the eagle so far beyond my dreams
Like an eagle I will fly

I'm gonna fly the highest mountain
Fly above the clouds
Like an eagle I will fly
COLLEGE LIFE
Since high school, I have been waiting to enter college. I always wanted to be a college student; a serious student who would decide what to be in his life. My first day at Pierce College was on September 2, 2003, the first day of the fall semester. It was a day full of new experiences. I got into a new educational building, was exposed to a different style of learning, and met new people. My first day signified the beginning of my career goals. As soon as I entered the college campus the high school atmosphere was over and a serious period of my life began.
I have a very positive attitude in life. My insecurity, fear and need to know about tomorrow has fortunately eased. What is going to happen will happen anyway. So why break my head over it?
Memories remind us that nothing last forever, we can be happy today and sad tomorrow, time is precious and should not be wasted, enjoy life and remember don't count our days, make our days count.

As my journey goes on, I will build and create many memories that someday I will remember.
