Transcript of Living Well:
What does it mean to love ourselves well?
[Christ] died for all, so that those who live might live no longer for themselves, but for him who died and was raised for them.
From now on, therefore, we regard no one from a human point of view; even though we once knew Christ from a human point of view, we know him no longer in that way. So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!
II Cor. 5:15-17

Choose to put on the new
You were taught to put away your former way of life, your old self, corrupt and deluded by its lusts, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to clothe yourselves with the new self, created according to the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. Eph. 4:22-24

We are God's workmanship, God's masterpiece, God's children
When Adam had lived one hundred thirty years, he became the father of a son in his likeness, according to his image, and named him Seth.
Image of God
Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image," Genesis 1:26
O Lord, you have searched me and known me... Even before a word is on my tongue, O Lord, you know it completely. You hem me in, behind and before and lay your hand upon me.
For it was you who formed my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made…
My frame was not hidden from you when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes beheld my unformed substance. Ps. 139
