•Social media sites allowed for Obama to seem personable to his supporters
•Also the use of these social media sites and other websites allowed for supporters to connect with their communities and spread the word about Obama.
•The hope posters and yes we can chants circulated widely during his campaign and became iconic
•The Obama campaign spent $27 million on TV ads. He tried to show his patriotism in his ads rather than negative smear campaigns.
•Since being elected, Obama has made weekly videos that are posted to You Tube.
•As well he has a prominent voice on twitter and facebook Major Accomplishments •Won the Nobel Peace prize in 2009
•Was only the 4th US president to win the Nobel Peace Prize
•One of the first big things he did as president was to close the Guantanamo bay detention center
•One of the biggest things Obama has worked on since being elected is Health care reform
•A recent accomplishment was the end of the combat mission in Iraq. All combat troops were pulled out of Iraq by September 2010.

•On November 4, 2008 Obama was elected president, becoming the first black person to be elected president
•He earned 365 electoral votes to 173 that McCain received, in the process capturing 52.9% of the popular vote to McCain's 45.7%

He moved to Jakarta in 1967 where he lived for four years. At the age of 10, he returned to Hawaii and was raised by his maternal grandparents. After high school he attended first Occidental College and then Columbia University where he graduated with a degree in political science. Five years later he attended Harvard Law School and graduated in 1991. He then decided that he loved laws and government, and later decided to be in the election to become president. My Project In my eco-friendly park I will be using material that is safe for the enviromant. Here is an example of what I am going to use: I will use recyled plastic and metal for the playground. I will use eco-friendly concrete for the driveway. I will also use the rest of the material for decoration and the swings. Here is what my model looks like..............
