Pablo Picasso -Picasso's birth name is Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz y Picasso -He was born the 25th of October 1881 in Málaga, Spain. -He died the 8th of April 1973 Mougins, France(he was 91). His final words were "Drink to me, drink to my health, you know I can't drink any more." Picasso's blue, rose, African-influenced Periods, cubisum and classicism and surrealism Periods -His blue period started in autumn 1901; this occurred because his friend Carlos Casagemas had commited suicide. -His rose period started in Paris in 1904. This started when Picasso met Fernande Olivier, a model for sculptors and artists. The painting were mostly infuanced by the relationship with her and this increased exposure to French painting. -His African-influenced period started in 1907. This period was influenced by African artifacts. -His cubism period started in 1909. This is a style Picasso developed along with Georges Braque using monochrome brownish and neutral colors. -His classicism and surrealism period started during the upheaval of World War I. This was influanced by the German bombing of Guernica during the Spanish Civil War.
