HEALTH SCIENCE 7 POISONING BY SIHAM,SANDRA,AND JENNIFER Poisons are substances that may cause illness, injury, or death. These events are caused by a chemical activity in the cells. Poisons can be inhaled swallowed and even injected. OVERVIEW: CAUSES: Medications, drug overdose, cleaning detergents, carbon mono oxide gas from furnaces, heaters, certain cosmetics, household plants or animals and last but not least botulism ( food poisoning) Food poisoning caused by growing on improperly sterilized canned meats and other preservatives. SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS: Symptoms of poisoning includes blue lips,
difficulty in breathing.

abdominal chest pain,
muscle twitching,
vomiting and nausea,
