All available forms are produced in modern facilities in compliance with cGMP which was introduced in 1984.

The applications must be made in CTD format.

The appraisal period is limited to 210 days. However, in practice this period could be longer.

Since March 2010, MoH requires on-site GMP inspections for imported products unless a mutual recognition exists between the two countries.

A fixed rate is used to convert reference prices. The rate is 1.9595 TL/€ since April 2009, whereas actual rate is hovering around 2,89 TL.

Drugs are categorized by equivalency groups based on active substance.

Price band of cheapest unit price + 10%.

Cheapest unit price in the following equivalency groups; Amoxicillin, clavulanic acid, dexketoprofen trometamol, Metoprolol, Metformin, Pantoprazole, Cefuroxime, Cefuroxime axetil, Montelukast, Candesartan cilexetil, Cefdinir, Clopıdogrel, Rabeprazole, Gabapentin, Tenofovir disoproxil.

20% discount was implemented for those drugs with retail prices between 5.23 TL - 9.97 TL. All drugs below 5.23 TL are discounted with 0% instead of 4%.
