What is the Issue?
What is being done to manage the issue?
One predominant problem
That is Climate Change!
“There is no environment out there, separate from us; I came to realize that we are the environment. Leading Science corroborates this ancient understanding that whatever we do to the environment or to anything else, we do directly to ourselves. The environmental crisis is a human crisis; we are at the centre of it as both the cause and the victims.” Suzuki
"If we use resources productively and take to heart the lessons learned from coping with the energy crisis, we face a future confronted only, as Pogo, once said, by insurmountable opportunities. The many crises facing us should be seen, then, not as threats, but as chances to remake the future so it serves all beings." L. Hunter Lovins
“The biggest challenge humanity faces in carving out a better future is to reimagine how we perceive the world, our place within it, and our highest priorities. By creating a vision of what must be, we then determine the way we act. There is no silver bullet to solve our problems. The change begins with each of us, then our families, our communities, our country, and the world” Suzuki again.
People use fossil fuels for heat, transportation, manufacturing, and cause many of the things stated before.
