Anger and Greed The Pearl by John Steinbeck From the Pearl "Only one person stood in the way... Kino... became every mans enemy." pg. 23 The anger and greed that simulates from the pearl creates a new man in Kino and a new women in Juana. Throughout the book it shapes their decisions. The news (of Kino finding the Pearl) stirred up something indefinitly black and evil in the town." pg.23 "For it is said that humans are never satisfied, that you give them one hting and they want something more." pg. 31 "There was no anger in her for Kino. he had said.
