Kurt Donald Cobain Childhood He was born on February 20, 1967.

As a child, Kurt was very bronchitic and sickly.

His parents divorced when he was only 7 years old.

After his parents divorce, he became very anti-social with his classmates.

He lived at many of his relatives' homes after the seperation.

In high school, he was bullied by the "jocks". As a form of revenge, he spray painted the words "gay" and "queer" in huge letters on their team busses. At one point, he lived homeless under a bridge Nirvana Kurt Cobain created Nirvana in 1986 with his friend who was the bassist of the band, Krist Novoselic.

Nirvana consisted of Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl.

They created their first album, Bleach, in 1989.

Their first hit album, Nevermind, came out in 1991 and sold over 10 million copies. It made over $550 million which made Nirvana millionaires.

Kurt Cobain wasn't "ready for the rockstar life" Dave Grohl is now currently playing in the Foo Fighters as the singer Kurt and Courtney Kurt married Courtney Love in February 1992 in Hawaii

Later that same year, Kurt went into treatment for heroin abuse

Then Frances Bean Cobain was born on August 18, 1992.

Although their marriage seemed perfect at first, Kurt wrote many songs like "Heart Shaped Box" that symbolized his sometimes shakey relationship. Kurt wore green pajamas to his wedding because he was "too lazy to wear a tux" Death of the Musician Kurt was a gun fanatic with several on him at all times

On March 4th, he was rushed to the hospital after a failled attempt of suicide where he
washed down fifty prescription drugs with wine

April 5th, Cobain barricaded himself in his home and put a shotgun to his mouth

His body was found when an electrician tried to install a security system but no one
answered the door

A suicide note was left addressed to Love when the police found him

Two days before he died, Courtney entered into a rehab center and then left when her
friend told her the news of Cobain When he died, several teenagers killed themselves because of Cobain's death Reasons The reason why Kurt Cobain should be memorialized is because of the music that he brought into the world. He created a whole new era of music, grunge. His hard yet millionaire rockstar life changed other people's love of music. He lived homeless, he recieved $550 million because of one album, he was married to someone he wasn't sure about, he did heroin, he had a child, he commited suicide, he deserves a memorial. My Memorial My memorial symbolizes the importance of Kurt Cobain's death and why he deserves to be memorialized. The memorial has pictures of Kurt with the rest of Nirvana, with Courtney Love, with Francis Bean Cobain, and just by himself. The pictures of him with Nirvana symbolize the music he made, the money they made and the rockstar life he lived. The pictures of him and Courtney symbolize the love and pain he had with Courtney and of how he wasn't so sure of his relationship sometimes. The pictures of him and baby francis symbolize that there was something in his life that he looked forward to. The pictures of him symbolize what he's been through in his life, his career, the drugs, the romance, the money, the music. This is the meaning of my memorial.
