Transcript of Dr.Suess

Dr.suess was born on march 02 1904 in Massachusetts.
He had 2 sisters and one died at 18 months old!
Dr.Suess loved reading books by Robert Louis Stevenson and Charles Dickens when he was 6 years old.
When he was 12 he won an animation contest!
When Dr.Suess was in Dartmouth college he was the writer for the school newspaper.
Dr.Suess wife was named Helen Palmer Giesl.
Dr.Suess was an amazing author and illustator for both adult and children!
He worked in the animation part of the army during world war 2 where he wrote design of death which later won the 1947 academey award for documentary feature!
He made over 400 animations in only 2 years!
Dr.Suess died at age 87 on September 24th 1991.
