The queen of comedy Her step dad didn't like kids, especially young ones. Her parents moved away for awhile, so that meant that Lucille had to live with her stern and poor step grandma while her brother Fred went to his grandmother.(Desiree's mother) In July 17, 1951,Lucille's daughter Lucie Desiree Arnaz was born. Her Son, Desi Arnaz Jr.was Born on January 19,1953. Desi Arnaz Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Jr. Lucie Desiree Arnaz Lucy's Death Lucy's last show was, "Life with Lucy" that came out at 1986. After 8 episodes, it was canceled. Life With Lucy was Lucy's last television role.Three years later, Lucy died.She died from a ruptured aorta that was followed by open heart surgery at Cedars - Sinai Medical Center in Los Angles She died on

I Love Lucy Lucy's Struggles When Lucille was 17, she got rheumatoid arthritis, a swelling of joints.So for 3 years,her mother nursed Lucy. Lucy begged her mother if she could go to a drama school in New York, which her mother had finally said yes.So Lucille went to the school, but once she went there, she was just bashful and didn't talk.So one day, the school sent a letter to her mother saying, "Lucy's wasting her time and ours.She to shy and reticent to put her best foot forward." Lucille also showed endurance.She showed it when she went back to N.Y. where her drama school was.Lucy went back even though the school wrote to her mother horrible sayings about Lucy. Lucille also displayed courage because her parents moved and she was forced to live with her step grandmother.Lucy had to face difficulty because her mother and her were very close.
