Should people take life changing risks? By: Jermaine
Introduction
Rogue Wave
If you don’t take risk in life you aren’t living your life to it’s full potential. "Scoot was learning how to be a deep-water sailor. She was fourteen years old and pretty, with dark hair. Though small in size, not even five feet, she was strong. She’d started off with eight-foot Sabots. On this trip, her first aboard the Sea Dog, she’d manned the wheel for most of the three days they’d been under way. She’d stood four-hour watches at night. Sully was a good teacher." Scoot was a deep water sailor who lived her life to the fullest by sailing for her 14th birthday. She also lived her life to the fullest by taking the risk of trying to survive the rogue wave along with her brother Sully, who is also an experienced sailor.

The Flight of Icarus
Sometimes people can make calculated risks, although they should always listen to directions. Sometimes people can make calculated risks, although they should always listen to directions. This shows me that since the father is giving his son directions, it is clear that he had calculated everything so that nothing goes wrong for them.

Parents of Rescued Teenage
Sailor Abby Sunderland
Accused of Risking Her Life
Conclusion
The three stories that I read which are The Flight of Icarus, Rogue Wave, and Parents of Rescued Teenage Sailor Abby Sunderland Accused of Risking Her Life. Out of all those three I will always conclude that people should take life changing risks because their actions will lead to success taking risks can help people grow as a person in challenging themselves, it can lead to success for you can live your life to its full potential, and you can take risks without anybody help. What about you Should people take life changing risks?

Claim
Taking risks allows people to challenge themselves as a person. "One commentator on the Los Angles Times website summed up the view of many: Abby Sunderland was on the wrong type of boat (a racing yacht) in the wrong location (the southern Indian Ocean) at the wrong time of year (winter in the southern hemisphere). Other than those minor details, it was a well-planned voyage." This shows that since Abby took the wrong boat it is giving her a challenge to face which can help her improve her in her boating skills.
