Now in it's fifth year, CBRE's Asia Pacific-wide WALK FOR A WISH event has raised close to AU$650,000 for the Starlight Children's Foundation and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The CBRE HELPING HANDS Program gives all staff the opportunity to volunteer two working days over a calendar year.
Across the Pacific in 2013, we increased the number of buildings participating to 259, a 7% increase on 2012 numbers. Globally CBRE “switched off” more than 62 million square metres, with EMEA leading the way and increasing their regional participation by 96% on 2012.
Walk for a Wish
Staff engagement is a key priority for CBRE. We offer a wide range of incentive programs as a way of rewarding and recognising those who positively contribute to the business and excel in their given business line.
Circle of Excellence is CBRE’s most prestigious and honorable award. It rewards CBRE’s top performers for their achievements across a number of performance categories over a 12 month period. Winners are invited on a four day trip to celebrate their achievements and contributions to CBRE. Past locations have included Hong Kong, Bali, Broome, Shanghai and Japan.
Launched in 2006, the State Achievement Awards recognise the value of employees’ contribution at a local level. These awards cover performance over a 12 month period. All winners receive a trophy and are invited to an exclusive event run in their state.
Building Excellence awards recognise outstanding performance on a monthly basis across a number of areas within the business. There are national, business line and location-specific award categories. Prizes include gift cards of up to $500 in value. This program is designed to work as a constant staff motivation tool.
