by: Sarah Janzen Guillaume Bude Guillaume Bude The Contrubitions to the renassiance How did Guillaume Bude influence worldview? 3 questions I would ask Guillaume Bude; Born: January 26 , 1467 , In Paris

Died: August 23, 1540 , Also in Paris

Full name: Guillaume Bude http://www.insecula.com/photosnew/00/00/10/01/ME0000100145_3.jpg Guilluame Bude studied law at the unversity
of orleans in Paris. When he was 24 he had a sudden passion for studying and quickly made progess but mostly in latin and greek lanuages. He then was a scholar and scholars shared and spread thier learning and understanding with others. This is how guilluame contrubuted to the renassiance because he was halping the spread of ideas and was changing others worldview. Since Guillaume was a scholar he changed peoples
worldview. Also scholars and artist from Europe traveled to italian city-states to study and exchange ideas. When they brought new ideas back to their homelands and shared it with others that's how the renaissance era started. People were now spreading new ideas. Guillaume BUde really believed that lawyers should study the original text of roman law and apply that to new cases and not apply french interpretations. All of this changed peoples worldview because they were recognizing him and what he was trying to change like the study of roman texts and not getting people interaters. Akso soon after GUilluame were trying to get people to ignore interperetations, french universities were changing their law programs to Guilluanes ideas. This then gained gim great reputations.Scholars also helped spread the idea of humaism. THe spreading of humaism defitaly changed worldview becuase in the middles ages everyone was prepparing for the after life and then scholars helped spread that humans had great potential and that life on earth had value. 3 Questions Guillaume Bude 1. I would ask him why all of a sudden he had a passion for studying.

I would want him to say:
I found I had a passion for studying because i want to voice my opinon and make a change in worldview. Also that reading the original text was way more important then getting french interpertaters. Question 2 2. Why did you decide to be a scholar?

Want I would want him to say:
I wanted to be a scholar because I had a passion for studying and loved teaching and spreading new ideas. Question 3 3. What did you think when french universities changed their program to your idea? What I would want him to say:
I thought they were making a great decisions because people should read the original texts and not get intrerpers to teach them. Bibliography 1. (unknown, wikipedia)Bibliography
