Presidency Definition Driving Question What powers are given to the Office of the President by the Constitution and how is the Office organized. Chief Executive: A person who holds the office of head of state of the United States government. Question What are the
president's responsibilities? The President is the leader of our country. He signs the laws of our country. Laws are rules. The President is the leader of our country. He sing the laws of our country. Laws are rules. He meets with other leaders. They try to solve problems in the world. This leader is from another country. Commander in Chief: The President as the commander of the armed services. He is responsible for keeping the country safe and strong both in wartime and during peaceful periods. Foreign Policy Director: The President must direct foreign policy, appoint ambassadors, make treaties, and meet with foreign leaders. Legislative Leader: The President influences the development and passage of laws. But his support does not guarantee that a law will be instated. Also, the President has the power to veto any bill that has been passed by Congress. What are the responsibilities of a Vice President? Vice President serves as ceremonial assistant to the President and he's an important part of the President's administration. He or she must be ready to become President or Acting President if anything happens to the President. First Lady Obama Who is She? The first lady is the president wife. She also work to make the country better like the President. Some of the thing that she do is go on talk shows and how we can make a difference in these country she also do speeches and talk how you can eat better.
