Paul's Second Missionary Journey Antioch (Syria) This is where all of Paul's journeys started. His second missionary journey was about 2800 miles. Troas Paul had a vison here of a man begging for him to come to Mecedonia and help them. Philippi While Paul was here he met Lydia, and told her about God. She was later baptized with her entire family. Paul also took a demon out of a girl here that was a cservent and could tell the future. The owners got made at Paul because they now wouldn't be making money. They then were thrown in jail. Thessalonica Here many Jews formed a mob and tryed to arrest Paul and Silas but they couldn't. So they arrest many other Christians. Who? Paul, Silas, Timothy, Luke, Priscillia, and Aquila. What? They were all going around sharing God's Gosble to everyone. When? AD 49-51 Where? Greece Berea The Jews here received the message. Every day they would look at the scriptures to see if what Paul was saying is true. When the other Jews found out about this they sent Paul to the coast but Silas and Timothy stayed at Berea. They were happy to hear about God. Athens This is where Paul was sent, and Silas and Timothy would join him as soon as possible. Paul talked to people here and talked about God. Only 2 or 3 converted. Corinth Paul met Aquila and Priscilla here. He stayed with them for about a year. Ephesus Paul reasons with the Jews in the synagogue, they ask him to stay longer but Paul declines.
