of myself to go with my Personal History Project which is
on-going
It is interesting to look at my Cournoyer pedigree charts and speculate which of my ancestors fit the dates and criteria for the Hussars and maidens. There were many inter-marriages between the French and the Indians during this period of time. It is from Peter Cornia’s grandfather, Joseph St. Martin, that our Indian ancestry comes.
