Foreign Policy Approach Used: diplomacy
Humans Right’s Issue: Violence Against Women(ex. Afghanistan, Chad)
More than 2,000 years ago, Roman law gave a man life and death authority over his wife. Its is affecting women because they don't have any say, for example in Saudi Arabia you will need a man to go outside and if that man abuses you, there is nothing a women can do. Violence against women is taking away women's human rights because every people are born with rights but its taken away from these women because they can't go out and enjoy life, and they are being abuse without the government doing nothing to end this.
Human Right’s Issue Origin: Rome
The United States started
"The Violence Against Women Act," major law to help government agencies and victim advocates work together to fight domestic violence, sexual assault, and other types of violence against women and girls in all its forms. The UN Trust Fund is a leading global grant-making mechanism exclusively dedicated to addressing violence against women and girls in all its forms. This policy goes with diplomacy because leaders talk and create solutions so that this issue does not get advance and start problem, example The United States has been a founder and active member in many organizations to end violence against women.
Responses
04.06 foreign policy
I believe that the efforts and policies enacted by governments and international organizations aren't working. There are women out there that are still being abused or hurt, with no voice because nothing will happen to change that, yeah there are acts that help but in many countries, like Saudi Arabia are still letting violence against women occur. I would get the whole world together and talk about this situation and what we can do to end it. For example is to start a strong punishment for men that abuse of women, like long prison time, and deportation
