Evaluation (Question 2) In our main product we set a certain colour profile. This includes the colour of out titles (blue) as well as the dissolves to white in between. As we chose the time for the release date of the filmm december, we tried to imitate that time of the year (snow) in the colour profile. This profile is continued in the poster, as it links in with the same branding campaign. The cover follows a slightly different layout in terms of colour and fonts. This is, because it is more independent. The journalists for the magazine form an independent review on the product, which is different from the marketing campaign of the film, which includes trailer and poster. The layout of the title though appears slightly different on poster and in the trailer, as the title in the trailer needs to fit a bigger space than on the poster. But we still worked with the same font and colour of the title on both products, which is still able to produce the recognition value. On the cover, we had the challenge to bring a film, which is targeted for a young, mainly female, audience, onto a film magazine, which is targeted for 75% men. We chose to only put the story of the two friends onto the cover and focus on their relationship with each other on that cover, because it is also a very interesting aspect of the film.
