Every Day by David Levithan
A is with Rhiannon wherever she is at, because no matter where he is, A always tries to get to her.
The location of this story takes place in present day Maryland. It also takes place at Rihannons school where A tries to visit every day.
*The antagonist in this story in Nathan and Reverend Poole. Ever since Nathan has claimed he has been possessed, Reverend Poole has been trying to find A.
The protagonist in this story is A. The story is told from A’s point of view, and talks about A the most. The second protagonist of this story is Rhiannon. She is one of the main characters along with A
Everyday “A” wakes up in a different body, in a different town, with a different family, and school, but sixteen years old. This may seem completely bizarre, but for A this is his life twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, twelve months a year. Know one knows, but if they did they would be in
One day A wakes up as Justin. A self centered, mean, and basically emotionally numb boy. This seems to be just another ordinary day for him, but little does he know that today he will break every rule that he has made when he meets Justins girlfriend, . .
The rising action is when “A” meets Rihannon. This is the climbing up to the climax because A has to find a way to keep meeting her. A claims that Rihannon is for him to survive. Another rising action is when Nathan gets famous, and uses A as a
to find out information about him. A was in the body of Nathan for a day. He went to Rihannon's town to a party where he pretended to know the host of the party. When A left the party it was late so he had to stop at the side of the road before he switched bodies possibly harming Nathan. When Nathan woke up he claimed he had been possessed by the devil, and when he went to his house, finds A’s email address on his computer screen.
Nathan becomes in finding out who "stole" his body.
The climax of this story is when Justin gets in a fight with A. A shows up as a boy named Michael, and when Justin sees him and Rihannon talking he comes over and they get in a fight, his punches are
. This leads to a fight where Rihannon gets mad and won’t talk to A for three days. She also says that she can’t love A because of his condition. Because she will always wake up not knowing who he is, or where he is at, so A tries to contact Nathan to find out if he can change and stay one person the whole time.
There are many different supporting characters. The most important one is Rihannon. She is Justin's Girlfriend and then gets involved with A.
Science Fiction or Fantasy?
I believe that this book is science
fiction, because fantasy has more of
a magical, supernatural plot, while this book
is based in a modern-day setting.
