First UMF was held on March 13, 1999
Held at Collins Park in Miami
Both years saw around 10,000 in attendance
Artists included Paul Van Dyk, Rabbit in the Moon, and DJ Baby Anne
$10,000-$20,000 deficit
Relocated to Bayfront Park in Miami
By 2006, the Festival saw around 50,000+ in attendance
Relocated to Bicentennial Park in 2006
Sets by: Tiesto, Carl Cox, Deadmau5, Eric Prydz, Boys Noize, and The Crystal Method
Electronic Dance Music Festival
Held in Miami, Florida
Founded by Russel Faibish and Alex Omes in 1999
Named after Depeche Modes' album "Ultra" from 1997
2012 "Early Bird" tickets sold out in 20 minutes
2013 UMF was held over two weekends
4 new stages introduced
330,000 over both weekends
2014 160,000 in attendance
Sets by Hardwell, Jack U, New World Punx, Above & Beyond
"Worldwide" UMF tour
