Transcript of Future with Going to

Future with 'going to'
It is
going to
rain!
We use
going to
when we can 'see the future in the present', in other words when
a future situation is starting
.
We also use

going to

to talk about
intentions
:
"I'm
going to
wear a skirt to the party"
Remember, future with 'going to' affirmative:
I am going to
you/we/they are going to
he/she/it is going to, etc.
Contractions:
I
'm

gonna
you/we/they
're gonna
he/she/it
's gonna

In the negative form, just add 'not', before 'going to':
I am
not
going to
you/we/they are
not
going to
he/she/it is
not
going to
Contractions:
I'm
not
gonna
you/we/they're
not
gonna
he/she/it's
not
gonna
To ask questions, invert the order:
Am I going to...?
Are you/we/they going to ...?
Is he/she/it going to ...?

Nothing changes if you add a WH word before it:
Where
are we going to
meet?
