Durakool Gold Label Contactors

Durakool Gold Label 35 and 50 Amp models (normally open) are economical, special purpose contactors developed to handle resistive loads over millions of switching cycles. They have been used successfully in commercial cooking equipment, plastics machinery, process heating controls, comfort heating and lighting control applications. As in all Durakool contactors, the liquid contact action of mercury switching is far superior to conventional mechanical contactors, offering significantly long life. Gold Label contactors operate dependably in harsh industrial/commercial environments without special protection and do not require sophisticated equipment for troubleshooting.
Durakool 60 Amp Contactors

The Durakool 60 Amp high performance contactor (normally open) is designed for resistive loads typical in industrial ovens, food processing and laboratory equipment, lighting and computer power supplies, plus medical and communications equipment. The 60 Amp contactor is UL/CSA listed for general purpose, inductive, and tungsten, as well as resistive loads. The contactor features long life, quiet operation, and rapid on/off cycling. Since it is hermetically sealed, it is a practical replacement, especially in hostile environments.
Durakool 30 Amp Contactors

Durakool 30 Amp general purpose contactors are available in 1,2, and 3 pole configurations to suit a variety of design needs. The BF (normally open) and BB (normally closed) both feature long-life contacts which provide low, stable contact resistance. Screw terminals are included for both load and control connections. The top wiring style of the load terminals allows efficient use of available panel space.
Durakool BFC Contactors

The unusually long life of Durakool “B” size contactors in proportional temperature control systems has made them the most popular choice of designers of process heating controls. BFC (normally open) and BBC (normally closed) contactors are general purpose, 60 Amp rated, featuring mercury-to-tungsten contacts. Tungsten’s ability to resist arcing erosion greatly prolongs the life of the contactor. These relays can be used in plastic extrusion equipment to cycle heaters for precise temperature control. Available in 1, 2 and 3 pole configurations.
Durakool BFL Contactors

These 35 Amp general purpose contactors offer additional load capacity as well as long contact-life performance. Top/bottom compression lug termination style allows easy connection to heavier leadwire (up to “4 AWG Copper). Both BFL (normally open) and BBL (normally closed) are available in 1, 2, and 3 pole configurations, and feature low, stable contact resistance.

Durakool mercury contactors are a favorite choice for high reliability lighting and heating control. CB Series
The FB Series is a high performance process controller with a more advanced Brilliant II PID, autotuning, selectable sampling cycle time of 0.05/0.1/0.25 second and 0.1% of accuracy in short depth housing. Applications include various plastic machines (extrudes, injection machine, etc), electric furnaces, semiconductor, food processing, environmental chambers and many others.
RB Series

This electric heat controller's design includes proper heat sinking and terminations simplifying integration into applications. DIN-rail and back panel mounting is standard on this electric heat controller. The DIN-A-MITE controller is also mercury free. Variable time base, 4-20mA process control or VAC/VDC input contactor versions are available. A shorted silicon controlled rectifier (SCR) alarm option is also available. All configurations are model number dependent and factory selectable. DIN-A-MITE C

The DIN-A-MITE C silicon controlled rectifier (SCR) power controller provides a low cost, compact and versatile solid state controller option for controlling electric heat. This solid state controller is designed and manufactured with the quality features expected from Watlow. DIN-rail and standard panel mounting plus a cabinet thru-wall mount version are available.
Basic features of the solid state controller include single-phase, three-phase/two leg, and three-phase/three leg, 24-600VAC operation. Current switching capabilities range from 30 to 80A depending on the model ordered.
Variable time base, linear voltage and current process control or VAC/VDC input contactor versions are available. Single-phase, phase angle firing and current limiting are also available. All configurations are model number
dependent and factory selectable. This solid state power controller includes 200KA short circuit current rating (SCCR) tested up to 480VAC to prevent arch flash with required fusing.
DIN-A-MITE® D

The DIN-A-MITE® D silicon controlled rectifier (SCR) power controller provides an inexpensive, versatile product for controlling heat in an efficient package. This SCR controller is designed and manufactured with the quality features expected from Watlow. The back panel mounting matches the footprint of the industry standard mercury displacement relay. There is no need to worry about mercury; the DIN-A-MITE controller is mercury free.
The DIN-A-MITE Style D is capable of zero-cross switching up to 100 amperes single-phase, at 600VAC at 86°F (30°C), depending on the model selected. Two or three controllers used together can control three-phase. It is totally touch-safe and includes standard back panel mounting, on-board semiconductor fuses (accessible from the front) and a current transformer option for external load current monitoring. An optional “shorted SCR detector” feature is available on some models. This model is UL®508 listed and C-UL®and CE certified. The Model DM640 Cap series is a line of battery powered temperature indicators which accept a Thermocouple (DM640TC) or RTD (DM640P) input depending on the model. The face of the Cap houses a 4 digit LCD display. The back contains the screw terminal connections, battery, and three push buttons used to program and calibrate the unit. The unit is microprocessor based. The sensor type is selected from a simple to use menu system which is navigated by the use of the three push buttons located on the rear of the display. This feature enables the user to easily configure the device in the field without the use of any other equipment. In the DM640P you can choose between Pt100 or Ni120 RTD’s and in the DM640TC you can choose between K, J, T, R, S, E, L, N, and B thermocouples. EI-RN
The HAUG Static Eliminator Bar (Ionizing Bar) type EI-RN is a powerful and strong piece of
equipment. Its construction satisfies all machine construction requirements and it has proven its value time and time again in the removal of electrostatic charges during roll, sheet and web (continuous product) processing.
Product-interfering surface charges can be removed reliably and effectively - even at high operating speeds - with a HAUG ionizing unit.
EI-VS
The HAUG Static Eliminator Bar (Ionization Bar) type EI-VS reliably removes electrostatic charges and its performance, when compared to the standard version, is considerably enhanced.
The Static Eliminator Bar type EI-VS has all the features which characterize HAUG Ionization Bars, especially the reliable and removable contact system, the screened high voltage cable, the absolute contact safety and special electrodes made from special steel.
Ionizing Ring
The Haug Ionization Rings have a two part ring electrode which can be operated for a short period of time during machine setting up. During production, for instance, this enables quick and uncomplicated changing of the film. Also, the minimal dimensions guarantee a wide field of application with the most diverse types of machines. Finally, the high voltage parts are encapsulated and absolutely safe to touch. Upon receiving the ionization ring, the simple instructions will make the experience even more satisfactory.
One Point Ionizer
As seen above, the one-point-ionizer is emitting positive and negative ions, this unit neutralizes reliably electrostatic spot charges. This ionizer is perfectly suited for mounting in places where there is little room. The plug of the electrode must simply be connected to the high-voltage transformer and the unit can be quickly set into operation without tools.
Ionizing Air Gun RI-LG "Light Gun"
The Ionizing Air Gun consists of few individual modules, each of which is exchangeable. The high-voltage cable can be extended, shortened or exchanged. Another advantage to the Air Gun is it can be conveniently and efficiently used by left and right handers. These users also appreciate the remarkably little noise and low weight. Finally, the utilization of the intake air through bypass channels results in an extremely low air consumption. Thereby this technology also allows considerable cost savings. It is suitable for hazardous areas and can be accompanied by a HAUG power pack to provide the high-voltage necessary.
Air Blower
HAUG's Ion Air Blower is based on the concept of a proven ionization technique. Negative and positive ions are added to the air flow produced by a cross-flow blower. the air flow hence becomes conductive and is able to eliminate electrostatic surface charges on non-conductive material.
Air Knife
This is part of the air lock group of components. As the name already indicates, it is a type of ionizer which is supported by air flows. The effectiveness of the Air Knife can be explained by the special design of the air discharge nozzle which creates the so-called Coanda Effect.
In contrast to full flow nozzles, ionized air is discharged from a slotted nozzle, creating a flat jet flow.
Charging Systems
The HAUG charging bar ALS is suitable for most applications where material webs are to be fixed relative to each other. The charging bar ALS can be supplied using a HAUG AG-series charging generator. These are optionally available with positive or negatice polarity. The voltage of the charging generator can be steplessly adjusted.

The charging bar ALS must be attached at a distance of approx. 10–20 mm above the material to be charged, directly above the counter-electrode. The grounded counter-electrode must make contact with the material to be charged.

In order to achieve a continuous, controlled fixation of the two materials, we recommend that, before charging, the materials to be fixed to one another, be discharged using a suitable HAUG ionization system.
HAUG Charging Generators are high-voltage generators that work in conjunction with HAUG charging electrodes to apply electrostatic charges without physical contact, for example, for fixing, positioning and electrostatic "adhesion".

Typical applications, among others, are to be found on packing machines, in film and paper processing, in glass manufacture and the electrical industry. HAUG Charging Generators are equipped with the most modern technology. They are robust, extremely reliable in operaton, and most effective in application.
Delta Blower
The Delta blower DA TR is a new electrostatic charge-removing device which can be used to separate single sheets on paper or film sheet piles as well as to remove dust particles which are electrostatically attached to surfaces. Its compact design makes the Delta blower DA TR a very versatile device. Its wide, cone-shaped air jet blows accross the ionizing pins which generate a vigorous ionic current with positive and negative ions. The Delta blower DA TR offers a whole range of applications in the most diverse fields. For example, it can be used to help separate shields on paper or film sheet piles as well as to remove dust particles attached to surfaces.

Special features and advantages

The precise air-assistance means that the effective distance can be increased to up to 100 mm from the material to be cleaned. The Delta blower is attached using a M6 threaded bolt attached to the housing. It is supplied with high voltage from a HAUG power pack and connected to the power pack using a highly flexible high-voltage cable (Ø 7.5 mm).

The Needle Ionizer effectively removes dust particles from bottles and other small containers.

DM700 1
The DM700 I Cap is a two wire current loop indicator that is powered by the 4 to 20 mA DC process signal it is displaying. The face of the Cap houses a 4 digit red LED display. The back contains the screw terminal connections and three push buttons used to program and calibrate the unit by means of a simple menu. The menu allows the user to select units, input/output scaling, offset, decimal point position, and password protection. The DM700 I contains several linearizations which can be applied to display: square root, x 3/2, x 5/2 or a user defined 19 segment linearization curve. The entire DM700 I is sealed in a Cap that fits directly into the SCH Series of NEMA 4X and Explosion Proof housings. Housings have provisions for including temperature transmitters.
DM720
The DM720 is a compact panel mounted loop powered indicator that is designed to connect in series with a 4 to 20 mA current loop and display the value in engineering units. The DM720 is housed in a 48mm x 24mm DIN standard panel mount case and provides 10mm high LED digits. The engineering range is programmed by using easily accessible push buttons. The design of the product means no external power supply is needed and it requires less than 5VDC from the current loop.

DM3400 Series
The DM3400 is a series of highly accurate and stable digital indicators. The DM3410 and DM3411 are for Temperature indication, and the DM3420 and DM3421 for Process. Designed without compromise, the DM3400 series uses leading edge technology to accept all commonly used temperature or process inputs. Engineering units are displayed on a high efficiency Red(Green option) LED display that provides daylight readability. The indicators can easily be used ‘stand alone’ or, using the Modbus serial communications option pod, as part of a larger system.

The DM3430 is a true RMS current and voltage panel meter suitable for measuring AC or DC signals. It has a four digit, high intensity LED display that can be set to show a fixed number of decimal places with “auto-rounding” to always show the maximum resolution. It is highly accurate and designed to measure AC or DC voltages up to 550 Volts or currents up to 6 amps. Readings can be displayed as current or voltage or, alternatively, the reading can be easily scaled from the front panel to take into account a multiplier from a transformed input or to display directly in engineering values. The 3.5KV isolation gives added protection when the instrument is used to measure high voltages. This is particularly important when measuring current, in that the instrument can be mounted anywhere in the measuring circuit and remains unaffected by any standing voltage.

DM3430 Series
DM3600
The DM3600 is an intelligent digital panel meter that can accept inputs from a wide variety of sensors. The DM3600 is available in two models. The DM3600U is a universal input panel indicator and the DM3600A, a universal panel indicator with totalizer functions. Alarm relays and 4-20 mA outputs can be added by means of plug in “Pods”. The use of TFML gives the user the ability to customize the DM3600 to his specific requirements. Many standard programs are available from our website. Custom programs can be written quickly and inexpensively. All functions are programmable from the front panel keys or via the optional RS485 serial port using our M-Config software. The program is easy to use and intuitive having pull-down menus and dialog boxes. The DM3600A totalizer function enables non-volatile storage of the integrated total to be maintained within the unit, even after loss of power. Output options (4-20 mA and alarm relays) can be selected to operate on either Process Variable (rate) or Total.
