Sophia (Sophie) Mercer: Dark witch/ Demon
Jennifer (Jenna) Talbot: Vampire
Archer Cross: Warlock
Sophia Mercer got sent to Hecate Hall. Whats Hecate Hall? Also called Hex Hall is a boarding school for Prodigium juvenile delinquents. Sophie gets sent here after one of her spells went wrong and exposing her powers to humans. Thats what her mother and absent father thought was best for her. Along the way she meets Jenna, she becomes Sophies best friend and roomate. Sophie falls for the school's "bad boy" Archer even though she is betrothed to Cal. Throughout the book, Sophie finds out there is a secret war going on between Prodigium and a group of humans who want to kill off all Prodigium. She learns about herself and her family she never knew along the way.
I believe the theme of this story is to except who you are and make the best out of it because there's not much you can do about it. Sophia goes into Hex Hall thinking she's a witch but after catching up on her family tree, she learns she is a demon and only 1/4 of a dark witch. At first it was very hard for her to accept but she soon realized how powerful she really is.
