History
The Mary Celeste was a ship that was found with six months of food, water, and all of it's cargo. However, it had no passengers on board. Not even the experienced captain was on board. It was headed from New York to Genoa, Italy.
When/Where
The Mary Celeste set off from New York to Italy on November 7, 1872. It was found 400 miles East off the coast of Azores, Italy, on December 5, of that year. It was found by the crew of the
Dei Gratia
What we think
Possable Explainations
Pirates attacked the boat but then left it with nobody on board
A sea monster attacked it (not very probable)
A dangerous explosion from the fumes of all the alcohal

We think that there was a small storm that created an explosion that caused all of the people on board to have to leave.
