Viewing data in Prezi Analytics

Prezi Analytics measures stats on how your presentation is viewed. This information is given as an overview on your analytics page.

Paid feature: Prezi Analytics is available for users with a Premium or higher Prezi Next plan. Luckily it’s a breeze to upgrade your license and get access to this and all the other great features our Prezi plans have to offer.

Your analytics overview

Your analytics overview will give you the total view time of each presentation you track. Each presentation is represented by a circle and will get bigger according to view time. If the presentation circle is gray, the viewer has not yet opened your presentation.

Underneath these circles you’ll see a further breakdown of your each presentation you’re tracking. From here you can also create a new tracking link and download a CSV file and open it as spreadsheet. To read more about the analytics overview, check out this article.

Viewing a presentation’s statistical data

You can get data of individual presentation by clicking on it’s circle in the overview or on a description in the analytic breakdown below. This will take you to that presentation’s statistics that will show you the viewer’s activity while viewing.

Average completion rate

The first thing you see when you view the analytics of a presentation is a circle with the average completion rate. This percentage is based on a view of the presentation from the beginning to the end. Each bar in the circle represents a device used to view the presentation.

Analytics of an individual presentation

Next to the circle, you’ll see the presentation’s analytics broken down according to when your it was shared, when it was first and last opened and viewed, the total view time, the number of views, and the number of viewers.

Page view summary

The page view summary indicates how much time was spent on a specific page of your presentation. This could be useful in determining which part of your presentation received more interest and deciding if you need to fine tune a part of your presentation. As a useful reminder, if you hover over a particular bar, you’ll get a pop-up of the corresponding page.

Breakdown by viewer

Your presentation’s analytics are further broken down according to viewer. The viewer represents the number of devices that were used to view the presentation. This is to account for the possibility of a client viewing your presentation using different devices or sharing the link with a colleague.

Editing a link’s analytics

You can edit the reference name, choose if that presentation is visible in the company leaderboard, and stop tracking a link.

To edit the reference name

  1. Click on the pencil icon next to the link’s name.
  2. Type the new name and click OK.

Once you choose to stop tracking a link, you will delete the link and the connected data will be permanently removed from your dashboard. To do so

  1. Click the cogwheel located next to the presentation’s link. Select Deactivate this link.
  2. To stop sharing and delete the presentation’s tracking data, click "Deactivate link and delete data”. If you only want to stop sharing the presentation, click “Deactivate link”.
