I think everybody's got a presentation. Everybody looks a certain way because they want to convey a certain image. You look a certain way because you want people to listen to you in a certain way.

Learning intention (LI):
To understand how presentational devices are used.
Your task for the remainder of the lesson
Identify the similarities and differences in presentational devices between the three media sources you have seen today (two magazine covers and the sportswear advert).
Learning Objectives:
To understand how presentational devices are used by writers to affect the reader.
To analyse a number of media sources and explain how presentational devices are used to affect the reader or viewer.
To learn how to compare two non fiction or media texts.




When you are comparing texts you must clearly link one text to the other. When making comparisons there are a range of words and phrases you can use. How many can you think of?
