The Two-Towed sloth has weak hind legs and strong front legs and claws. The sloths dig into the earth with their claws and they use their front legs to move. Sloths can defend themselves by using their claws and teeth.
The Two-Toed sloth sleeps 15 to 20 hours daily. At night eat leaves and shoots.
Sloths are the worlds slowest mammals. They have greenish fur because algae grows on its fur. Sloths spend most of their time in the trees. Their good grip comes from their long claws. They also sleep for a long time. Sloths can sleep for 15-20 hours daily. At night they eat shoots, leaves, and fruits from trees.
