What Makes a Hero?
A hero is an important person who is respected. They have bravery that takes the challenge of fighting to defeat all evil and wrong-doing. George Washington is an example of a brave hero who helped change America by guiding the fresh independent nation as their first president.
A hero is defined by their ability to resist weakness by having incredible strength. This quality gives them self-confidence to not worry about safety or difficulty and stay strong. This strength allows them to make a difference in the world.
Heroes represent wisdom , power , and leadership .They are always willing to take on a task no matter what it is .They are an example to an entire generation because of their courage and fearlessness.
“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”--Nelson Mandela
Heroes have plenty of qualities and one of the more important one is compassion. They have a kind heart that drives them to do good. They don’t change to please others or to fit into society because of their strong and unbreakable will.

A one of a kind HERO!
All of these qualities represent different interpretations of what makes a hero.

To be a hero one must choose a course, stay with it, and not change to meet others expectations. They must have the confidence to know that their decisions are right and that they are choosing the right destiny. People might criticize their choices along the way, but they must stay strong and follow their heart.
Heroes are not always in comic, or movies. They don’t always have a mask or a cape, they live among us .They are those that serve and risk their lives to save others .They protect and fight for their beloved country and are not afraid of the consequences. They are truly heroes because they don’t expect nothing in return. In 9-11 341 firefighters lost their lives trying to save others, they are an extraordinary example of true heroes.
